Who Am I?

First and foremost, I am a follower of the risen Christ, Jesus the son of God.

 

Second, I am a husband to a beautiful and faithful woman of God, and a father to five amazing children.

 

Third, I am a full-time IT guy, but my passion is for the truth of our Lord, with a newfound love for gardening and homesteading.

My Brief Story

I am from the eastern coast of Central Florida, where my parents had a ministry for women and children. I was raised Christian my whole life, believing I was a Christian since I was a child when I accepted Jesus into my heart. But it wasn't until my adult years that I realized that my parents' faith could not sustain me, and so I needed to take responsibility for my own faith in Jesus.

In 2015, I began my own journey of study, but it wasn't until 2016 that I had the humbling realization that I did not know it all, nor did I have it all right. Most of what I knew were assumptions without any real substance behind them, and worse still I was a mess in desperate need of a savior, but by the grace of God, I rededicated my life to Christ, and have been on the pursuit for His truth ever since.

In 2018, my wife and I moved our family to the Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina, where we had a desire to live a simple, uncluttered life in honor to God, and we are striving to improve on these things one day at a time.
